Am I doing this right? re:cereal/solids
DD will be 6 months next week.
She gets 1 Tablespoon of cereal once a day. (she usually doesn't eat all of it)
Yesterday we tried carrots. I let her taste it on its own and then I mixed 1/2 the jar with her cereal. She ate almost all of it!
Is this the right way of doing it?
Any other suggestions on how to go about it?

THat sounds fine.
that is how i started. I may have started with a little bit more cereal than a tablespoon. i also did each veggie for 3 days before trying something new (my dh is allergic to everything so i had to be careful)

There is no right or wrong way, starting solids is all trial and error. Just do what works for your DC.

SOunds perfect. I still mix DS baby food with oatmeal at almost 8 months.
