He can sing good, I just can't look at him! 
ETA - I loved what David Cook did to that Lionel Richie song. I have always hated that song, but his version made me LOVE it!

I can't look at him either. I think he looks like a puppet or a creature from the Dark Crystal (remember that)? Those piercing blue eyes, that smile, that hair...just very odd looking and I can't look at him!
And David Cook, I am sorry but he is such a wanna be. I hate that hair, that guitar on him, etc. I know I am harsh, lol. Last night I was screaming at the tv at him...he looked like such a "poser" with the hat, the vest, the scarf, etc. Funny thing is he doesn't have a bad face, but the overall look he is trying to achieve looks ike a joke to me, so I can't take his singing seriously.
The same with Amanda. I can't stand her singing, her look, her style, etc. Just seems very contrived to me, a bit too much of trying to show how "different" you are (although I do think this is who she really is, if that makes sense).

I agree, and I didn't think his singing was all that great a few days ago.
Eh, I just don't love anyone on AI this year. I got so excited about Blake last season. I was hoping to find someone to love this season but it has not happened.
