Age related question
Just wondering-
I'm turning 36 next month.
DS was conceived after a few tries when I was 31. DD was conceived without trying when I was 32.
I'm assuming it will be harder on this go around due to the fact that I am older.
What do you ladies think? I feel like those 4 years are pretty significant. DH thinks I'm crazy.

Re: Age related question
I am just going to repeat what I have heard which in way is medical or factual, just what the crazies I know have said
If you have hada child then it is not as hard as if you have had none.

this is VERY true. your body can change but generally it's always a good sign that you have already had 2 successfully.
my sister got pregnant with her 4th at 42, so you might be surprised and have no issues. I think it's just that as you get older, risks increase as well so that might be something to be concerned about.

Re: Age related question
Yup - just wanted to agree with the others here. I am a year older than you and know folks my age TTC and some it happens in one try - some a long time - just like everyone else. I know they say it's harder as you age but I just think so many other things go into it as we see on this board! And def stress is worse than age so I say go with the thought it will happen and deal with the rest as it comes!
Good luck!

Re: Age related question
I guess it's possible. I conceived my DD on the first try when I was 31, had her when I was 32. I started trying for #2 this year at 34 (now I am 35) and so far I've had like 5 failed IUI's and 3 miscarriages so I would say that in my case, it's much harder.

Re: Age related question
I agree with others that while not 100% accurate, I'm sure it helps that you've successfully conceived in the past.
