After you BD....
how long are you girls laying there?
I lay about 20 mins...then run to the bathroom (soooo afraid of getting a UTI) then run back to the bedroom and sleep for the night.
Whats the norm?

I feel much better now! my sister was telling me to lay down for an hour without getting up. It would be torture for me!

I only have 1 month of ttc experience and that month resulted in a pregnancy. I didn't lay long. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes. Then I got up, peed and cleaned off. That is pretty much my normal routine anyway.
This time around I might lay down a few minutes longer  even though I know it isn't proven to make a difference. I'm just desperate now.

Me too. When I got my bfp with my DS, I jumped up right away and peed, so I personally don't think lying down helps much anyway.

i usually lay there for about 10 mins...but we are usually in the evening before bed so after going to the bathroom i'm laying down for the next few hours!

I would think so...everything i've read said not to pee afterwards...but you may want to ask your dr. being you get UTIs.

Im not sure how urinating can get rid of the sperm since they are 2 separate areas.
I dont lay there except after this last IUI the Dr has you rest for 20mins.

I know. This is what I thought but its what Ive heard  I do honestly believe that it doesnt matter if you urinate or not after sex. Whatever is meant to stay will stay.
