Advice on swaddling

So my son is 11 weeks old today and we've been swaddling since he was born. He doesn't sleep well when he's not because he ends up waking himself up. The past three nights he's been breaking out of it no matter how tight we make it when we put him to bed. Any advice on how to keep him in it during the night? Is it time to just wean him off?

Do you have a velcro swaddle? Sometimes it is easier to keep them contained.

I had one in the newborn size but he hated it. He preferred to be swaddled in the blanket for some reason.

we loved the halo swaddle sleep sack - not in the newborn size though...the small size. it gives their legs a little bit of room but keeps their arms snug halo swaddle

Another vote for the halo. I liked the swaddle me when dd was older but as newborns both my girls broke out of them. I used the Halo and swaddleme until dd2 was a year old for naps. Chat Icon

My daughter broke out of everything at that age. I think we started transitioning her out of the swaddle soon afterwards.

Great, maybe I'll try the miracle blanket and see if he can deal with that. He was sleeping so well so I'm spoiled and I want to be able to sleep again lol thanks everyone!
