Advice needed

I am currently taking something called Growing Jade. Its an herbal supplement. Its all natural. I spoke with my acupuncturist about whether to stop when stimming. She said that its all natural and that it should not be a problem. But, that my RE might not want me on it while stimming. I will call my RE tomorrow. But, I was out all day and before I thought about it the day at the RE was over. And I start the patch tonight. I start estrogen patches tonight. Should I

a) keep taking until i start my stimming drugs

or

b) stop it now

I really think its the reason that when I went in for consult I had a higher AFC then in the past.

I would stop it personally, but that's b/c any time I've asked any of my drs about taking any supplements they've told me they only want me on what they've given me themselves. That being said, do you think it will make a big difference if you stop it today and he says it's ok the next time you see him? Then you could start right back up and maybe it would still be somewhat in your system? GL!!!

I had the same situation today as I am on female treasure- I love saying that name. Anyway. She told me today to keep taking it through my FET as its supposed to keep my fsh low. I am not taking it and stopped a few days ago on my own. I cannot worry about my future fsh now, I have to worry about this FET. I don't want to take anything that might impact that and who knows whats in those herbs really. Anyway, sorry to hijack but I would not take it for now.

Beth Ann, my acupuncturist doesn't want me on anything while stimming. I mentioned a few of the supps that we all take on these boards.

I don't even think she wants me on wheatgrass juice while stimming. These herbs can mess you up while stimming.

Just replaying what she said.

I hope you can make a choice that you are comfortable with.

Also, most western medical doctors don't know sh!t about supps and herbal stuff. They are too scared to recommend anything that's not FDA approved.

My acupuncturist has both western and eastern medicine creds.

You are only starting the estrogen tonight? I would put a call in to your RE and talk to him when he calls you back.

Is your RE receptive to alternative medicine? If he is, then you should get a good answer.

If not, I would probably err on the side of caution and stop the herbal supplement.

OK, got a call back. I need to stop all herbal supplements. I hope that doesn't mean my fiber supplement too. I cannot live without that. But, I am off growing jade, wheat grass, grape seed oil extract and my green vibrance. I'm going to feel like I forgot to do something all day.

Wonder if that means fish oil too. I guess its a supplement, so yeah. Will I fall apart now
