Acupuncture today
so what should I expect?

They will askyou a TON of questions some embarassing like about bowel movements and stuff. Then they will do a short treatment. Probably put some very small needles in your head, abdomen, hands, ears and lower legs and feet. Thhey will put on some new agey music and leave you in a darkened room to relax. I always used that time during my cycle to visualize. You can visulaize your fsh going down your eggs ovulated easily etc. GL! I always fgelt great when I left acu. Towards teh end I started listening to visualization CD's while I was in acupuncture

cool..I like that. I was thinking of getting some Cds..
I have to fit in my wheatgrass shot today somewhere.
I am going to try to visualize the fsh going down and my pituitary glad relaxing and pumping out the right amount of fsh..whatever I have to do!
I really hope this works..I'm counting on it. I've never changed so much in my life for anything.

i've never been, but i know when my mom used to go they would just lift her shirt up when they put any in her abdomen- she wasn't naked  (Not sure what she was going for though- lol) 
let us know how it goes- i was considering starting to go to accupuncture... but don't know if there are any out here.

I always had all my clothes on but I would wear like yoga pants and a t shirt so it could be moved around

I'm wearing work clothes..going from work and then going back to work and then tonight working my other job..
I need the stress relief.
I guess i'll see..hopefully the robe.
Excited, got a great referral and spoke to her at length.
There are many acupuncturists around.

Definitely what melijane said. I always where sweatpants and a t-shirt or yoga pants. You can roll up your pants and roll up your shirt if they need to get to stomach points.
They usually cover you with a blanket too.
Where are you going? I go to LI Holistics in Babylon. Andrea is great!

I used to go straight from work and wore my work clothes - no problems. I would just roll up my pants or my sleeves. Certain times in my cycle she would do my stomach area so I would just unzip my pants.

Dr. Joyce Anastasi..highly recommended and she is in NYC on Fridays which is perfect for me from work.

I did the same. I thought very positively when I had acupuncture and used it almost like a pep talk.
