Had acupuncture for my carpal tunnel today!!!
OMG!!! Can I just tell you... IT WORKED!!! Naturally I have to go back for more treatments, but today, my hands were SO BAD, I could barely hold a glass of OJ, let alone type on the computer.
For the past few days it's gotten worse and I went for my 1st session today and I am AMAZED!!
Fingers are still a tiny bit swollen, but she gave me this external Chinese cooling rub (she did it today on me). I have to put it on and wrap my hands... and then she did the needles. Nothing to it!!
And I walked out of there with NO PAIN!! 
Ladies who are suffering, I highly recommend checking into it

I've been going to acu and the chiropractor - thankfully I started going at the slightest sign. I wear a brace to bed, and just have some tingling once in a while when I wake up.
I loooove acupuncture...

Aboslutely not!! Not one bit, I barely felt them.

I soo wish I could afford it.
My insurance is covering it, so you should check around and see if yours covers any.

You did tell her that you were PG, right? Some chinese herbs are contraindicated for pregnancy.

Yes, she definitely knows I am preggers and she said right off the bat that there were points she wouldn't go near, etc.

Some chinese herbs are contraindicated for pregnancy.
HOWEVER!!!  When I just looked up the lotion that she used on me and wrapped my hands.. it IS contraindicated during pregnancy!!! Oh geez! What do I do now??? She gave me some to take home and to use every day!!!

I work with acupuncturists and oriental medical people so I just wanted to point that out for you.
I can't use any of the chinese herbs/linaments with my massage. DH has to put it himself on his skin.
