this was in the paper over the weekend that it was a hoax and that she was NEVER pregnant. she apparently made the whole thing up.
how she could ever even think of telling the world what she supposedly did is disgusting. she will get hers one day...
Yale is saying it was a hoax. She is still saying it was real The reason she is saying she doesn't know if she was ever pg is becasue she inseminated her self and then started taking the herbs right away. She bled around the same time of AF each month Just the most disgusting and insulting thing a woman could do!!!!!! For Art, I mean??? Who does that to themselves for fun????

Either way she needs some time in Creedmore or Bellevue. No one in their right mind would think of doing this, it is not only disturbing but to some it is murder. Why is she not being arrested on multiple accounts of murder? The intent and motive are both present, therefore she should be able to be charged.

Whether or not this is true, the fact that she thought of and is saying its true is apalling, disgusting.
I agree 100% with what Leslie said - a miscarriage is not art, it is pure Hell.
How dare she try to make this painful, horrendous experience into "art."

I don't really care about her at all. I HOPE it IS creative fiction though. if she's a liar, it's all good.
if she really did that to herself and more importantly, any unborn children...completely disgusting.
I wonder though, at what point she would have administered the drug...right after (like the morning after pill) or at different stages of her "pregnancies"
she would have to be one fertile woman to get pregnant and abort multiple fetuses in 9 months.

You know the more I think about this the more I just don't understand her line of thinking.
I understand as an artist she wants to make a statement, stir up debate, be thought provoking.
But to say she's was trying "to spark conversation and debate on the relationship between art and the human body"... I just don't buy it.
IMO, her connection between art and the human body is a very vague concept. What kind of relationship between the body and art? What is she trying to say? What is she trying to prove?
To me, this was nothing but a way to shock people and that, IMO, is the least bit creative thing she could have done.

From what I read I believe she started the medicine right away. She inseminated herself just before her period would naturally have began and then took herbs to make it come faster. She never tested herself to see if she actually was pregnant, but it's unlikely.

i didn't read the article either... and whether it's true or a hoax doesn't even matter - the fact that someone thought this up is disturbing in and of itself. it doesn't matter if you're pro-choice or pro-life... this is above and beyond and there is NO argument for this.
