A stupid WWYD
So, next week around this time I should O if I keep on track. my cycle has been 28 days and I O'd a day or so late last week and made me have a 30 day cycle.
Anywho... I had my period a week ago today so I should O in a week, BUT I'm due for a pap with a new OB since I just moved to NJ. They say not to  around your pap b/c it could effect the results. Would you still all next week even though you have an appt?
I just want to meet the new Doc (who isn't so new since I met him at 18 when I first went on the pill  ) and let him know DH and I are TTC and the situation I had last TTC and pregnancy.

I made this appt about a month ago. I work full time and it's hard to get night appts.

My dr has never mentioned anything about a pap and being related...so I say go for it!

you can tell your doc. the reason you're not supposed to is it might cause your pap to come back abnormal, in which case you'll have to go back for another. up to you.

it will not affect your pap... that's a total myth! the only thing that will cause problems with a pap are abnormal cells and doesn't cause abnormal cells....

i've never not before a gyno appt, and never heard that you shouldn't
if it was that crucial that you don't, i would think the dr's office would tell you that when you make the appointment
