You did such a wonderful thing saving RUDY Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
And than on top of it, you get him a day of beauty.Chat Icon He must be feeling wonderful tonight! I love Bark Ave...have used them many times.

As another poster said, please take a picture of him. We would love to see what a handsome guy he isChat Icon

Thank you again, not only for caring, but for actually doing something. How many people just rode past him and didn't take the time to help. You ARE a special person.

I am so so happy to read this - I am in tears.

If only more people were like you, less dogs would need to be saved.

Thank you!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: A Rescue Story!

I'll FM everyone who asked the name of the place -- otherwise, you can FM me and I'll let you know the name. GreenFreak and MrsGraz also know the name of the place if anyone happens to speak to them in the mean time.

I understand why people wouldn't want to go there - my whole family avoids going there because of that!

I took pics with the only camera I had -- my phone. I sent Melissa a few text messages with the pictures since she is much more computer savvy than I am -- I'm hoping she'll be able to post them tomorrow whenever she gets a chance! So, look forward to that.

The pics were taken AFTER his big day of beauty so he looks so clean and pretty! He was definitely thrilled when we saw him -- last night, in that situation, he was so sad and slow to get up when I called him... but TODAY was the total opposit -- he was all excited, jumping around, BIG smile on his face -- wanting to be pet SO bad! He would paw at us if we stopped petting him for a second - the poor thing just wants love!!!! What a sweetheart he is -- I was thrilled and he looked amazing. The man said that they had to shave him all down because the fur was so bad and he looks like he lost half of his body!!!!!! He had a lot of fur!

So, the pics are after the haircut -- and they don't even do him justice because as big as he looks -- he is 10 times bigger in person! Chat Icon What a mush with his BIG fluffy paws!

On my way home from work I passed by the shelter -- I smiled knowing he was inside, warm, safe, and happy in his own little area with a special bed, toys, food, etc. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I honestly think it should be posted publicly... why should we respect the "rights" of these a-holes??

I know - I agree but I don't want to be the one and then I get sued or something ya know? It's just too risky especially since I'm in St. James ALL the time ya know??

Re: A Rescue Story!

THANKS MELISSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry - they were taken w/ my phone and he was *SO* excited so it was hard to get a steady picture!!!!

He was jumping and happy -- and we would pet him and if we stopped he would gently paw at us like "are you kidding? DON'T STOP!!!!!!!!"

What an amazing thing you did!!!!

I want him in the worst way. We don't have a fenced in yard though... and DH wants no responsibilities for at least a year.

Chat Icon I would give him such a nice home (I'd have to change the name of course Chat Icon )

I hope he finds a wonderful family!!!

Oh gosh he's adorable.
I would love to have him. But we don't have the room. And my chihuahua would probably run away if we brought another dog homeChat Icon

I don't think he will have any problems being adopted.

Did the former ownersChat Icon say how old he is?
