a little confused
So DH and I are trying to conceive, its only been 2 months.
This month, i went to my gyn and she said everything looks fine and to have fun.
My AF is supposed to come on the 8th and when its 2 days late i take a HPT - it was a negative.
So I wait again, on Tuesday, my PCP calls to give me my general blood results, tells me everything is good and I ask about my AF, he thinks I might be prego and tells me to take a HPT next week if it doesnt come. I call my endocrinologist to see if it might be because of the change in meds and she doesnt think so and said shes going to mail me lab papers so they can check my levels and do a pregnancy test (still waiting on that). I get spotting on Wednesday only when I wipe.
So today I'm a week late. only spotting, i took another HPT and its negative .
I've been off BC for about 2 years and I havent miss a period or been late since being off BC.
So my question after having you read all this (thanks for sticking to the end)... is this spotting just a really light AF?
Should I take the blood test to check if I'm pregnant even though i'm "spotting" ?

sounds like you def. Could be preggo. Take the test for sure. The light bleeding could happen early in pregnancy. Sounds romising to me!

Maybe your spotting is implantation bleeding?
Test again next week if you haven't got af by then.

i dont think its inplantation bleeding since she is already a week late. implantion bleeding usually happens 6-10dpo and Im assuming you are way past that since you are a week late right? I could be wrong but ive read that spotting can happen early on in pregnancy.

You never know! I'd get the blood work done. When I was preggo with my  (she's now almost 3), I spotted heavily in the middle of week 9 and paniced (I had a m/c a few months before conceiving her) but everything was fine and she was perfectly healthy! Good Luck!!

Thanks for the well wishes and answering back... unfortunately Aunt Flo decided to come about 2 hours after I asked my question. I think she was very angry. Oh well I guess DH and I will just have to keep
