A few questions....
to get me a little prepared.
Not sure yet when I will TTC. Im SO SO nervous but getting baby fever at same time.
A little on me...
Used BC, came off in March so free of BC for a few months. My cycle is exact 28 days. Im so regular, its crazy. Enough that I sit here and get AF and think, didnt I just get it?
SO....
Luteal phase? When should I bd?
THANKS!
BTW: I know I have a 2 yr old, lol
With DD, I was on BC, stopped, ttc the 4th month, read my body and got pg.

Re: A few questions....
Deb why dont you try OPKs and get a read of when you O. That way you can keep track month to month

Re: A few questions....
Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? Your best bet right now is to try to determine when you ovulate. From there you can determine your luteal phase (the time from ovulation to AF), and when you should BD. The OPK's may be helpful to determine O, if you really want to get things moving.

Re: A few questions....
Ok so since you have a DD already, it's more than likely that you have a normal luteal phase (the period between the day you ovulate and the day you get your period - anything under 10 days is said to make it difficult to hold on to a pregnancy if you do conceive because your lining will shed before implantation can take place - so it's likely you have a normal LP. A "normal" LP is anywhere from 12-16 days (can be 10 or 11).
That said, since you have a 28 day cycle, you are likely ovulating between CD12 and CD16 or so, upto around CD18.
So make sure you are BDing every other day or every day in that time frame. Remember that the day you get AF is CD 1 (not the next day). You can start BDing every other day around CD10 to be safe and BD every day that you have EWCM.
That should cover your bases for TTC and you can make adjustments from there.

Re: A few questions....
I think if I were you, and you wanted to take the laid back approach to this, I would start BD'ing on CD9 - and do it every other day until about CD17 - just to have your bases covered in the beginning.
If that doesn't work I would just get a box of ovulation sticks to predict when you O. I ovulated much later in the month then I thought I was.
