A couple of cute stories about Biruk and Paulos!
Biruk LOVES to wear everything all at once, he wanted to wear the leather coat, two hats, sunglasses, two shirts, etc..he just piles his clothes on..so anyway..he starts singing, but was kind of being shy..he sang so sweetly..I had no clue what he was singing..I assumed it was a sweet little Ethiopian folk song..so when he was done..I clapped and asked him what the name of that song was and he looked at me surprised and said "eminem"!!!!
How the hell does a child in a strict Catholic oprhange know eminem and what exactly was he singing??? UGH
Then today Paulos and Biruk were taking their shower, Paulos got out first and Biruk stayed in, I kept hearing this stomping and clapping , he was in there singing..so I listened by the door and he started singing "I love you mom, I love you mom, I love you too"!!!! It was the cutest thing!!! It made me melt..so Im all in lala land when Paulos come up and nails me in the stomach and runs..its how he teases...
these boys are keeping me busy..very busy..they are so sweet and cute and thoughtful and I cant believe they are my children. i am so blessed to have them. i am truly blessed. This sunday, at church..I will be on my hands and knees thanking God for being so good to me. I dont know how I got so lucky!!!
On another good note, the investigator in Ethiopia was able to find some of their relatives and I now have Biruks baby picture as well as Paulos' fathers picture and some relatives!! Its great! I wanted alittle background. I also think we have Biruks real birthday, so now we only have to make up one for Paulos! Im a very, very happy mom!

That is so wonderful. It makes my heart melt. ALmost brought tears to my eyes. The neat thing about your situation is that you all worked so hard to get your family and your children realize how lucky they are. They sound like they are on cloud 9. MOst kids have it automatically and these kids appreciate it so much more. G-d bless!!!

Thank you!!! I do want to inhale every minute..I have to keep telling myself that its ok, they will be here tomorrow and every day..I fel like someone is going to take them. I know they feel similar because I went to get the mail, I said Ill be back, and bye and they looked so scared and followed me out..tonight we watched batman and they were on both sides of me with their heads on my shoulder and blankets and it was so wonderful..I actually got mad when the phone rang because I didnt want to get up! I know to the average person, these seem like little things, but since November, all I could do was dream and imagine and to ahve them here now and to have them love me..it is beyond words..all the hell I went through with my husband, leaving him, moving, finding a new job, all of that stress was so worth it to have these boys here. Now all of a sudden, Dex is acting interested..he wants to see them. He told me to stop the adoption because he didnt want them..and now he wants to see them???? He doesnt have that right and Im very bitter, these are the sweetest cutest children, so innocenta nd trusting..they dont need to meet a man who never wanted them. Im so glad I trusted my gut! UGH..,anyhow,.thanks again..so very much for your support!!!!
Julz...they LOVE to brush their teeth with their toothbrushes and Stacy,..they love the clothes!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone for all of your support..you ahve honestly given me strength throughout this process!

Thank you for sharing the stories. They are adorable.
It sounds like you have been through so much. I was around on LIW when you first got involved in the adoption process, but stopped a little after my August wedding. It sounds like you have been through so much, and you now have such a blessing- These two adorable boys. Congratulations!!
