9+months prego and DH going to bachelor party....

oh waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh... sorry but just have to vent - I always hate the thought of bachelor parties anyway... but this time around seems to $uck even more....

Here I am 9 months pregnant and I am
trying to deal with the thoughts of him enjoying the sites .... (don't get me wrong - he's never once given me cause to worry or even be concerned....just my own personal insecurties I let get the better of me)
as I sit home with my fat a$$, alone... wondering if he will ever view me as sexy again oh woe is me....

On top of that the girls are having the bachelorette party in AC - going to Harrahs pool party - drinking and dancing the night away.....

pity party at my place


vent over now... I am going to try and be a big girl and not let him see me down....

any advice though???

Just make sure you keep yourself busy that night. Have a friend over or visit a friend..go to dinner and a moive..something so you don't stress all night.\

Mine went to Barcelona two weeks ago (i'm due this Friday) for a bachelor party. It didn't really enter my mind that he might be ogling other half naked women - but I know my DH doesn't really enjoy that whole scene.

I'm sure yours doesn't as much as they all pretend to - you're his wife for many more reasons than your body.

I agree with the others - find something to do that night that makes you happy - spend time with friends, family, or on your own with a good movie and some good food. Relax and enjoy the quiet and the time on your own - pretty soon, you won't have much of it! I promise you the night will fly by!

I know how you feel but like others said, try to keep yourself busy that night. Eiher do dinner with some friends or maybe do some shopping for the baby. Don't let yourself sit home & dwell on it.

Plus I have seen you in person pregnant & let me tell you, you are one sexy mamma to be so I highly doubt your DH would think otherwise!

If my move goes smoothly... (just found out that mom and dad won't be around that weekend, so mike won't have any help from dad) i will keep you company!!!

awww... it sucks when everyone is doing something that you can't.

My friends all went to the wineries this weekend and I was bummed. I would have loved to sit outside on a nice summer day and drink wine.

Definately find something fun to do that night. Dont sit home alone on the couch.


And you're a sexy momma, don't forget it.
Besides, the girls at those strip clubs are not all that. Many times my husband has come home from those things saying " those girls were busted".

I know how you feel just last month DH went to a bachelor party at a booby bar and on the outside I played it cool but inside it was killing me that I knew he would be seeing all these nice bods while at home he had my fat arse to stare at!!! He even told me he would probably get a lap dance and i wanted to vomit but I knew it was a bachelor party and really had to let it go, plus he was honest with me so I couldn't crusify him! He was good about calling me though which helped. I would make jokes to him about it and even made sure my tatas were the first ones he saw that night LOL but it kind of bothered me when I really thought about it, the day came and went though and it will for you too! You are sexy and beautiful!

Mine is going to a 2 nighter in ac a few weeks after the baby is born. I'm not thrilled about it, especially since I can't attend the bachelorette party since i'll still be pregnant and ready to pop.

Try not to let it bother you. I agree with the other girls- keep yourself busy, get pampered and invite some friends over!

i feel you! DH went to a bachelor party last month - the night of my baby shower. i actually drove him to the club where the guys were at 1am. (after my baby shower was over) and mind you the next morning we had a maternity session - well let me just say that i was not a happy preggo that night - i kept on waking up throughout the night waiting for him, so i slept for about 4 hrs that night - he came home at 5am. drunk as a dog. couldnt wake up for our session, nor was he in any shape to get out of bed either.
so i was crying, tired and just ****** off - but got my things together and left for the shoot without him.
So....... my point is. I feel you and I was not happy either but what can we do? I trust him completely as well but its just never a nice thought thinking ---- hmmmmm here i am 30lbs heavier then i was, feeling like crap and you're going out to a club - JUST GREAT -
i suggest you invite a girlfriend over, get some movies, pizza, and enjoy a night to yourself ;)
