$900 WATER BILL!!!!!!
I'm going to kill my DH! He's been so into the lawn that he was leaving sprinklers on all night, every night!

The most we've ever paid for a 3 month period was $32.50 and my DH was ready to kill me. Normally we pay less than $10 every 3 months.

I agree, can it be a mistake? Call the water company to verify..
electricity is more expansive and even with the AC on all day everyday in the summer, the most of our bill was $500... I just can't imagine water being that much!

Yes, that is crazy!! My last bill was $50 for 3 months and that was using alot of water for the summer (we filled up half of my neighbors pool too). Our bill is about $25 for 3 months time.

Suffolk County Water Authority raised their rates over the summer ... we usually had a $35 bill (I think for 2 or 3 months) and the last one was almost $100.

Not for nothing But I would call and ask them to verify that that was accurate, whether they send someone to read the meter, or whatever... My sister just had this problem with LIPA, she got a $11,000 ELECTRIC bill... needless to say it was their screw up!!!

That seems really high. Our sprinkler system is programmed to run every other night for 5 hours and our biggest bill is $200 for 2 months.

same here..
Are you sure...maybe you dont have a leak somwhere. That happened to a friend of mine. Her toilet bowl was leaking and her bill was HIGH

WOW that's crazy! I know my DH was crazy about putting the sprinklers on all summer too. OUr bill is usually about $13 every 3 months. Last bill from the summer was about $70. I was a little annoyed about it.

I would definitely call the water company. These companies aren't always accurate and unfortunately it's our job to make sure we don't get ripped off.
