When the time comes, do you want to be involved in your baby shower planning or do you want it to be a complete surprise?
-since my bridal shower was a surprise (and considering i'm a control freak  ), I would want to be involved with the planning. The women in my family haven't been to a baby shower since my 10 year old cousin was born, and things have definitely changed a bit since then. I feel that with all the ideas I can get through this site, plus my awesome family and friends, it'll be a great time for us all.

i will not be having a surprise baby shower, because i know i will figure out when it is anyway (i figured out when my bridal shower was)

i definitely dont want to be involved in the planning or know when it is. i completely trust my mom and sister to plan a great shower, theyre both very creative.
the only thing i would tell them is that if the season allows for it, i would love a backyard shower.

I was not surprised for my bridal shower and was not really involved in the planning either... I would like the same for my baby shower either.

I want to plan my own shower. If my MIL & best friend want to help out that will be great. I'm not going to ask them since they planned my bridal shower. They did such a great job and I am so appreciative. If it werent for them, I wouldnt of had one b/c my fathers wife (who has known me since I was 2), didnt think I should have one.
 She's such a witch!

I want it to be a surprise, but I constantly let DH know what I would like as far as the baby shower goes. So when the time comes he will be sure to coordinate with my mom and let her know my ideas.

I want it to be a suprise but since my family lives in Alaska it would most likely not be. 
My bridal shower was not a suprise and it was right before the wedding, like two days prior! So this time I hope they can fanagle a second trip to NY! Or fly me to AK!

I don't particularly want to be involved in the planning, but I don't want it to be a surprise either. I've always been against surprise baby showers - god forbid the mom-to-be goes into labor from being so shocked! 
I'll want to know when it is, but the rest of it can be up to my mom.

Mine will not be a surprise. My bridal shower was a complete shock and the day just went by so fast. I've already had a discussion with my mom, and she agrees that I will be involved. I don't think its good to scare a pregnant woman!

I'm an only child, so I want to help out my mom plan or order things. I want to pick out the place and make or order the centerpieces. My MIL and SIL will definitely help out too.
