Today's question is a spinoff from yesterday's.



Are there any family vacations you took when you were growing up that you'd like to continue to take once you have your own family?




- My parent's have been taking us to Montauk since I was born. And my father has been going every year since he was 7. I would love to be able to continue the tradition and go every year once we have our LO because some of my best times were out there with my family.


Also, DH and I want to start our own tradition, and go to Disney World every year once we have children. We were engaged there in 09, and honeymooned there this past May, so we like to call ourselves disney freaks

Evey yr my parents and grandparents would take me to a resort in the catskills. About 10 yrs or so ago, the resort closed down and we have since been going to Villa Roma instead. I still try to go up there on the weekends since my parents have a timeshare there. I can't wait to take our future child there to enjoy the cool new kids water playground!!! That will always be a vacay for us

We also would like to continue going to cape cod every summer. Dh and I started the tradition 2 yrs ago for our first anny.

Every year, we went to Disney World - literally. I would like to take my children to Disney, but not every year. Like my parents, I would like to go on a good vacation every year - so the kids have something to look forward to.

-We go upstate to a cabin resort in the summer that we want to continue doing.

-Mystic Connecticut is another yearly summer weekend trip
