Beta 3 came in at 304. It has doubling time of 27 hours, but nurse doesn't seem to optimistic. We will continue doing b/w until they can do an u/s. I think I have officially lost my mind!!!!

I don't understand It's doubling at a very good rate!!! This looks good to me ... Who is telling you it's probably not viable?



ETA: I just read it was a nurse.. DEFINITELY call tomorrow and speak to your doctor!!!

I was thinking the same thing. I don't see what's wrong with your numbers AT ALL! In fact, they look perfect to me!

Beta has doubled once again!! It is now 638. It is still low, and although they say to be cautiously optimistic, I'm thinking positive. We have doubled each beta.. I will not have anymore b/w, and will have an u/s on Monday. I'm praying that we see a nice lil sac right where it belongs :)

I did speak with dr. He said that nurses don't want to get hopes up. My numbers are very low, but consistently doubling and it can go either way. He has seen a start beta of 9 become a healthy child and women with betas 10x mine be chemical. He will know more when we do u/s. He said he will be looking for a sac and yolk sac obviously in the uterus and not elsewhere. We may see a fetal pole, but might not as it is early. He also said it is too early for h/b so not to get discouraged. He does not think it is ectopic because the numbers continue to double. He said that typically numbers rise but don't double with ectopic. So basically we're still in limbo and will be for a bit. Now my only problem is Irene!! I'm going into NYC hurricane or not. Now I just need to decide if I should take bridge or tunnel LOL not really sure which would be better during a hurricane

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and support through this stressful time. My numbers a beginning to drop and therefore they are diagnosing me with a chemical pregnancy. Once again, thank you for everything!!!!
