which would you prefer?Relaxing vacation or Big party?
My bf is turning 30 this fall. He's been an incredible bf for over 4 years, so I want to do something memorable for him.
Which would you prefer as a surprise
A 5 night getaway somewhere tropical.Spa treatments included His manager is his best friend, so I just have to let him know ahead of time to find someone to cover him. If you pick this, where do you recommend going?
A party with all family and friends in my backyard. Around 60-80 people. I know someone who can let me rent a big white tent with floor, tables , and chairs. I'd also have waiters and catered food.

It depends what he would want. My DH would want a party...in a club and be fussed over. A vacation is something for the 2 of you that can be taken at any time.

I asked him what he wanted and he said neither.He just wants to be with me. He doesn't like it when people make a big fuss about anything.
I asked him again last night, and he said whatever I want because he knows whatever i do for him, he'll have a great ime.
So I'm debating because
Party: He's an avid dancer and really values his time spent with family and friends
Vacation: Since I've been in school and he's been working extra hard, he hasn't been on a vacation in over 2 years. and when we have gone, he's always paid. I want to pay for everything and have him relax because he works 6 days a week for 13 hours each day.
I don't know

My Dh hates people fussing over him, and I know he would rather the vacation. Maybe a small dinner with immediate family before or after would be nice.

Vacation. Don't get me wrong, someday I'd like to have a big party to celebrate my birthday, but given the choice, a vacation would be awesome! I'd do Key West, Islamorada, Aruba, St. Thomas.

And then have a smaller party for him with closer friends and family to celebrate.

His 30th is in May, and he keeps dropping hints for a Vaca, But, i really want to throw him a party

I turn 30 in March and my dh was hinting around as to which I would like better too. I told him outright, dont throw me a party! LOL
