what are some good suggestions on how to entertain 7-9 year olds at a toddlers party?
Having a party soon and going to have some older kids.
I dont have any entertainment coming. Just a big family party. There are some older kids coming and being that my DD only has 3 year old's toys, what are some suggestions on how to entertain the older kids? I feel bad they will be bored and it will be too dark out to go outside.
Any games/suggestions? thanks

when is the party? I have the same issue with my DD's party coming up and I just bought some gingerbread decorating stuff for the older kids to do.

Take a 10 minute walk around Michael's and you can find 1000 things

Just put them all in the same room, and they can text each other for a few hours.... 
Do you, or a family/friend have a Wii, PS3 or Xbox?

This is a good idea. But the thing is there is no where specifically to do crafts once everyone is in my home, and I dont want little peices winding up all around. As well as glue, etc. I will take a look in Michaels but I have a bad feeling there won't be anything that will work.

Didnt think of that. Not a bad idea!!! This is the kind of stuff they like. however, I think they may come with their own handheld games so that's good I guess if they do.
