Re: Hotels in Philly

We originally had plans to be there for New Year's and made a reservation at a Hampton Inn (their beds are sooooooo comfy and free hot continental breakfast ... at least at the one's I've stayed at).

Re: Hotels in Philly

I had a good experience at the Embassy Suites in Philly. It wasn't too expensive, in a great location and they had happy hour in the lobby (free appetizers and drinks). Since they're suites my room was huge. It had a separate bedroom, kitchen area, and a nice sized balcony. I would definitely go back there.

We always get rooms for Philly on Priceline. We paid $50 fot the Marriott on Market. If you have time you can check out Bidding for Travels site to see the most recent prices paid for rooms in Philly.

Love the Hyatt at Penns Landing. The Park Hyatt Bellevue was also beautiful, less family oriented though.
