help me plan my philly trip! (for about 3 days)
where to stay, eat, and play! :)

The doubletree or the bellveue on broad street are both very nice...
The Windsor and Embassy Suites are both nice... closer to the art museum and not in the heart of center city....
if you want something more historic-ish philly.... the Omni Hotel Independence Park is much closer to old city and society hill areas...
so your wonder "Cheesesteaks" right? skip the popular Pat's & Gino's .... head to Jim's on South street & 4th Street.... Best in town (i lived there for 6 yrs)
Entertainment....
there are a ton of "Broadway-like" shows playing up and down Broad street....
there are plently of museums and historic things to do. Go run up the Rocky Stairs and the Art Museum!!
Just walking up and down South St was enough entertainment for me! Ton of little shops and vendors...
what exactly are you looking to do? how long are you staying?

was JUST there! 
great hotels:
Sofitel, Hotel Palomar = both in Rittenhouse Square
great shopping: walnut street (right near hotels!)
great food: El Vez (mex), Alma de Cuba, Bar Ferdinand, Buddakan
great nail place: Nail Bar - awesome mani pedis with champagne or wine.
haven't done the touristy stuff in a while so can't help there - we go a lot to shop, eat and drink
have fun!!

We got a great room at the Marriott on Priceline. I think we paid about $60/ night.
Love Philly...Chinatown, Monks, all the touristy things and of course the food is so great.
