Clomid Question - Update

Hi Ladies,

I have been TTC for about 2 years now. My Dr. decided to start me on clomid about 2 months ago.
He said that I needed to start it on Day 5 of my cycle. I made an appointment for that day and when he did the sonogram, I had a cyst so I couldnt start that cycle. Well, I went back today because I just got AF and I have another cyst. He said to come back on Monday and if the cyst is not bigger, he would start me anyway. I said " Is that ok" and he said "Well, its risky but Im comfortable doing it".

What are your thoughts on this? Have any of you had the same problem with the cysts? And have you started Clomid with exsisting cysts?

Update: So, I went to my Dr today and the cyst got slightly smaller since Friday (2.4cm) so I decided to start the Clomid today. My Dr. doesnt think I will have a problem but Im still a little nervous.

I was going to start clomid at one point. I too had a cyst. My dr. said cysts are normal after you get AF and she didnt have any concern about the one I had as long as it didnt get any larger. HTH

i had cysts too.
my dr said as long asm y levels were ok they would proceed with the treatment.

however, i did not get pregnant so...

Thanks Ladies!! We'll see what the cyst looks like on Monday and take it from there. Who knows, maybe it will shrink!
