Please tell me I'm being irrational...
My hair is the longest it's ever been; it's to the middle of my back, very thick and fine. I grew it out for the wedding and now I am itching to cut it. I have always kept shoulder length or shorter angled bobs w/sideswept bangs. I want to go back to this hairstyle but I'm a little heavier than I used to be and I feel like the long hair "camouflages" my chunky upper body so to speak I am nervous if I cut it I will look HUGE.
Please tell me this is silly?
ETA to include the only pics I have on this comp:

I am heavier then I was and I once cut my hair short like up to my shoulders and I hated it, like you said it made me look bigge and I totlaly get your "Camofloge" theory lol So my opinion is to keep the lengh or maybe go a little shorter and have lots of layers. Some girls can pull of the short look and some don't, me being one of them.

i hate to say it.. but i sort of agree with keeping your hair longer to help 'balance' out the weight below. I think the same thing about myself!
If you're itching to cut it.. could you make it shorter but keep it full with layers so you still have volume? That may help
sorry.. not much help since i basically agree with you
