Please tell me I'm being irrational...
I know I AM being irrational, but please just tell me so I can hear it from someone else.
Chase is sleeping at my parents' house for the first time tonight. It's the first time since he's been born that we're apart and I'm really having huge anxiety. I don't even know why. Ava used to sleep at my parents' once a week at this age and younger. The first time we left her, she was three weeks old for our anniversary.
Yet, here I am, worried out of my mind that something terrible is going to happen to him. Maybe it's with all these terrible, tragic stories of babies dying or maybe I'm just crazy, but please tell me I'm being irrational. My mom took him so I could get some sleep and relax, yet here I am crazed with anxiety

Coming from someone else who suffers from anxiety like you, you need a good night sleep. Your parents kept you alive and Ava when she stayed with them  My anxiety is the worst when I am not sleeping well. Even one good nights sleep can make a difference.
Drink a glass of wine and go to bed

Go get some sleep!! I would give an arm to have the kids, even one  sleep out for one night.
Relax, watch some TV and go to BED

Oh sweets - I'm sorry you're feeling so anxious about this. Try and relax and realize your good fortune of having family who will do this for you - I wish I did!!!! You know you trust your parents and you know if anything is wrong, they will call

Thanks, girls. I really needed to hear it from someone else! I get nervous because he sleeps on his belly, and I fear something happening to him. At least at home I have the video monitor to see him and even though he rolls both ways now and can push up all the way on his arms, I worry. But you're right, being sleep deprived is probably fueling my anxiety. Ok. I'm having that glass of wine and getting my arse in bed. Thank you for giving me the reality check I needed!

Wow, your so lucky! I wish my parents would offer that!! I would LOVE a glass of wine and a good nights sleep 
I totally get your anxiety though and would probably feel the same way. Just remember your Mama did raise you and I am sure she is awesome, she must be to offer to watch your baby
