Where to have a painting made?
It's very difficult to buy gifts for my in laws. My DH and I have come up with probably the only gift that they would like this year. Their beloved bulldog died earlier in the year, and we would like to have a painting made of him. This, we know, they would love! It would make them so happy!
Anyone have experience with this? Who would you recommend me to contact? I don't even know where to start on this one...

i had a picture of my dds made into a painting from http://allpopart.com/
we did the photo panel, it came out beautiful they have many different sizes and styles and you can call or email to discuss with someone exactly what you want done, they sent me a proof and once i approved it, it was here within a week

A FB friend of mine started doing this so I was all set to use her for a portrait of our dog Sophie (since we had a pro "family shoot" I felt bad Sophie would be missing  ) But her price was more than our pro shoot + albums!!!!! Heathkernandez gave me a MUCH better price, I'm doing it after the holidays when I get my Christmas money
