WORK HOURS for 9-5ers
It seems like a lot of companies arent paying for lunch anymore... just wondering what the average is...

I work 9-5 with 1 hour lunch now - but when I go to our NYC office starting Tuesday (a promotion) my hours will be 9-4:45 with 1 hour lunch - the strange thing is that I have been told that we are not allowed to eat at our desk as the it has been determined to be "unprofessional" hmmmm now if I could get my company to tell all of your bosses that...lol so I can't complain

When I did work, my hours were 8:30-4:30 with an hour lunch. The work week was 35 hours..

I work 8-6 and almost never take a lunch hour. I work through it and it's an overtime hour due to the number of hours I work a day.

My hours are 9-5 with an hour lunch, paid. I work more than that every day and hours more on some days.
If I work through lunch, I can order in on the company account.
