Sofia Rose has arrived!
Sofia Rose arrived on 6/30 at 4:04am weighing in at 9lbs 6 oz 21 inches. was in labor all day on tuesday. went to the doctor told that part of my cervix was still left and i would make it till wednesday am for an induction. did tons of stuff during the day, went to bj's to food shot and ran around. around 10pm tuesday night i showered and was settling in. little crampy but tolerable. went to sleep at 12:30 and put a towel on the bed becuase i was worried about my water breaking. at 130 my water broke and i was in so much pain. got dressed and had dh drive me to the hospital for 2am which is 1 1/2 miles away. by the time they got me into labor and delivery i was 8cm and in so much pain. i asked for the epidural but the anestesiologist was in an emergency c section so i was told to wait. my doctor arrived at 330 and i was 9cm. still waiting for drugs at this point, throwing up in so much pain. anestetiologist fighting with me becuase he doesnt want to give me anything since im so far along. i begged him and he spoke to my doctor and was able to give me enough to take away a little big of pain. at 4am i was ready to push and Sofia came 4 minutes later. another big baby. this is actually my smallest which is funny. olivia was 9 13 michael was 9 8 and sofia was 9 6. she latched on right away and is nursing like a champ. looks like olivia and michael. cant wait to come home tomorrow. glad i got a private room. they had 18 births on tuesday and had a packed house. olivia misses mommy really bad and refused to go to camp today and michael is content with watching tv and eating snacks for now. here are some pictures i took with my iphone. will have better ones tomorrow when i get home. I was told that there are more births on Tuesday than any other day! Isn't that strange? Lily was born on a Tuesday too.
