Meltdown last night...

Morning Ladies...

So i had a COMPLETE meltdown last night and my poor DH had to deal with my wrath.

We got in a fight about something stupid i don't even know what and then it was like i became another person.

I was screaming, and I mean screaming at the top of my lungs and then 5 minutes later crying hysterically for the screaming i had just done.

I feel like a loony bird and it was like i had lost all control.

Has this happened to anyone else, and do I need to worry that I hurt the baby?

Please help. I'm losing my marbles.

I think this happens to all of us. I know I've had a night or two where this has happened with DH. I think the baby is fine. It just happens especially becasue our hormones are all over the place.

Maybe if you screamed all day everyday?!?! I don't know how screaming could hurt the baby. If you are up for it can you do some screaming for me bc I often was to scream, but with a 3 year old running around that's not an option.

Re: Meltdown last night...

This has happened several times to me. It amazes me the rage and anger that encompasses my thoughts and mind and then next thing I know I am screaming and yelling about nothing and making no sense! It is rather comical after the fact!

Re: Meltdown last night...

This happened in the very beginning to me, I was crazy!!!!Chat Icon My poor husband! I would feel horrible after that the stress had affected the baby, but thank god he is ok. It is very scary like a fit of rage, my heart would race after all the screaming and it was over something very stupid. I know it is hard, because it really doesn't feel like you, but try to relax and think only of the baby when you feel it coming on. Just so you know I have been fine since. A pretty happy preggo, even with all of my issues! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I was like you around 15 weeks also- very moody and would get angry very quickly. It will pass- I felt much better around 18 weeks.

Re: Meltdown last night...

Don't worry. It's very normal. I do this thing where I start with DH about something that he did or didn't do and then after a while I start crying to him about myself instead... Makes me feel insane, lol.
