There are actually TONS of beginner meditation podcasts available for free on iTunes. If you start there you can subscribe/download a few and if there's anyone you like you can buy a CD by that person/group!
*I'll note though that some of the podcasts "hits" are actually interviews/professionals "talking" about meditation. Which drives me berserk 
But if you search "guided meditation" that should narrow the results a bit!
