3yo Nursery school with babysitter?
For those FTWM/ families, if you have home-based child care, either in your house or a home day-care situation, how do the 3 and 4yo go to school? Does someone have to drive them, and if not, do they just not go?
I'm just curious before I take a FT job if offered. I am trying to save $ but at the same time, I'd need a daycare that replaced school for the girls and i got to wondering what everyone else does. TIA

Re: 3yo Nursery school with babysitter?
We have done 2 things:
Bus to preschool (as early as 3).. We pay for the bus, but don't need a driving babysitter.
Babysitter drives to preschool (if you have a driving babysitter this is cheaper)
School hours don't work for me to do a drop off... I picked the school that had an affiliated bus service.

You could look for someone to babysit just in the morning/afternoon to take your DC to/from school.

3yo Nursery school with babysitter?
I'm a FTWM with a nanny at home. DS goes to nursery 3 days a week, the bus picks up and drops off at our home. It has been wonderful.
Our care provider was away for a month and the school was able to accommodate him to full days with extended care- drop off as early as 7am, pick up at 6pm. That was also a great option in an emergency but it's much easier for our household to have him in the half day program.
