I had low progesterone at the beginning with 2 IVF pregnancies. I used PIO injections for weeks and everything turned out ok.

yay!!!!!!!!!! i would go with what the doc says..if he is happy i am happy lol
but for peace of mind,if it will make u feel less worried i would go...if it was me i would go..but i am nuts anyway
