3d sonograms
Anyone have a 3d sonogram done at babies 1st appearance or any place like that??
Im debating getting one done at 27/28 weeks but im not sure if its worth the money? Is it expensive??
My dr office only dose a sono at 20 weeks and then at 32/34 weeks so im itching to see my little man again! lol

3d sonograms
I decided against it- The place closest to me (beautiful beginnings in Scarsdale, NY) has two packages for 27 weeks+ (I am 31 weeks tomorrow) one is $159 and the other is $199. The difference in the packages is the time spent looking at the baby (10 minutes vs. 15-20 and the number of prints you receive). It is not a huge expense but in the end I decided it was not worth it.

yeah that's a lot of money.. I was hoping it would be under 50... I'll most likely just wait till the end to meet him! :)

The time goes pretty fast. I am hoping to have an ultrasound soon. I think my practice usually does a growth ultrasound around 32 weeks.

I did it and we are so glad we did. We got a great package for 3 visits...ended up being 4 bc dd didn't cooperate during the first one for and hour while trying to find out her gender.
Each visit was an hour and we had our family come to one of them. It was a great experience.

I want a 3d one so bad but I'm cheap and $100+ is a lot of money and I get frequent sonos since I'm high risk.

I did it with Brayden and it was cool, but he kept hiding his face; so the pics I got weren't the best.... If I ever did it again, it would be for earlier gender determination....
(ETA- and those aren't even 3d)
