38.5 week appt and....*TMI warning*
Nothing. I woke up and thought I was leaking fluid this morning after DH and I tried some BDing last night to get this rolling. Called midwife this morning b/c things were a bit different/wet this morning. Had appt at 1 - they checked dilation and for fluid...nada. Though when she went in (sorry TMI) and said things looked "quite wet" --- meanwhile all test results are negative. My DH keeps joking that I have "highly disappointed him again" --- he's been running on adrenaline for 2 weeks and barely sleeping. So I wait....again!! AHH!! 10 days from EDD...my patience is wearing thin, unlike my cervix.

Think of it on te bright side... every day your little baby stays in your tummy is another day more developed!
But I am right there with you! 38 weeks and NOTHING! No dropping, no dilation, no effacing! We must have very comfy stomachs!

I'm right there with you. 38 weeks 3 days and no effacing or dilation, baby hasn't dropped, sono tech today said she looks quite comfortable in there.
So...tonight I had lobster for dinner and (as long as DH feels better than he did after we ate) we'll BD tonight.
Tomorrow and everyday here on in I'll walk at least an hour a day, make sure I have balsamic vinegar on salad at least once a day, and maybe drink a raspberry snapple.
Anybody else know any other tricks?
