She is now with God in heaven....
It was with extreme sadness that I announce that this morning around 6AM my beloved Grandmother was called by God to heaven. What is truly ironic is that 15 years ago today my Grandfather passed away. I had a strange feeling that she was waiting until today. It was my Grandmother's style to never want anyone to feel inconvenienced and I think she did this until the very end.
My Grandmother was one of the greatest people I ever knew. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and lived her life to the fullest. She was the best Grandmother a kid could ever want or hope for. I will miss her so much but I know she is now with my always.
This morning we were able to say one final goodbye and as we were leaving hte hospital I felt someone next to me...I thought it was someone in my family but when I looked none of them were standing there. I knew it was her!
I wanted to thank each and everyperson who posted on the thread I had about her progress, sent me an FM or even if you just silently prayed for my family during this time. I appreciate each and every one of you so much.
I love your Grandma!

I am so sorry for your loss Kathleen My thoughts are with you & know that your Grandma is in a place now with no pain...It is ironic bc 6 years ago today is the day my Poppy passed away....

Kathleen I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Your grandmother was obviously an incredible, selfless woman and she was lucky to have you as a granddaughter to love and take care of her. May she rest in peace.
