2nd time moms...what are you getting new?
I have less than 14 weeks to go!
Got furniture, nothing else new yet.
I know I need to get new bottles.
We are  so I am going to buy a bunch of  and  clothes and just return the stuff I don't need.
What other things are you buying new?

I'm thinking just some clothes. I've started going through our stuff and so far everything else is still in really good condition. We didnt really use bottl and pacifiers though since I bf.

Nipples for bottles (not necessarily new bottles - just the parts)

Other than that, I'm reusing. And, obv, using whatever we get from our family/friends.

I need new bottles.
I want to get that Rock and Play Sleeper thing since it wasn't around with the boys.
If it's a girl I need a totally new bedroom set. If it's a boy I just need a new crib.

DC1 was a and I knew DC2 was a boy. So I just got some boy clothes, new pieces (nipples, etc) for the bottles, and boy bedding for the nursery. Boy blankets too.
Thi time around, I don't need anything.

We pretty much have everything we need for a boy or a girl. The only thing we'll need are a few outfits because this baby will be born in the summer and the twins are in the winter. We're going to get another crib, a single stroller and some new bottle nipples. I also need a new diaper bag. Mine is barley big enough for the twins. What are you using for a diaper bag?

I'm just getting new nipples for bottles - no need for new bottles...mine are in fine condition.
Really I don't need much new stuff...my bibs and burp cloths and undershirts are all in perfect condition...anything that was too stained got thrown out.
Will get new pacifiers obviously...can't even think of what else new I will need to get. I have a LONG way to go though.

you will WORSHIP the rock-n-play sleeper! Best thing EVER! i don't know how mom's survived without it...it was brand new when I had my DD. I gift it to anyone who has had a baby now after me. And I remember learning about the amazing miracle blanket from you on Parenting boards...I wrapped DD up in that and placed her in the rock-n-play...she slept amazingly in that thing!

I MIGHT need a new carseat. I have to go into the attic and check the expiration date. Seamus will be 4 a few weeks after the baby is born so I will be close with that.
Also want a sit n stand stroller.

New bottles,pacifiers, I need some new sheets, a second crib,blankets, rock n play, new hooded towels, onsies (I didn't keep them) pack n play, double stroller, larger diaper bag. I need a new diaper pail now so I'll be buying that as well. Obviously all new clothes its a boy.
I can't believe you have less than 14 weeks to go. That went so fast!

New Bottles and Pacifiers...
New Washcloths, I've been using mine to dust for years! They aren't little baby worthy anymore!
New onesies, socks
New Changing Table pad, ours was shredded in the middle by the time DD got potty trained from us getting her dressed up there...
A new crib sheet or two --- Emily is 6.5 years old ,the elastic isn't good on our old ones anymore
New Infant Car Seat and Bases --- they are over the 6 year mark!
New Stroller, I never liked my Graco Travel System so we got rid of it years ago (I will use the snap and go for the infant months!)
New Pack n Play -- because we never had one with Emily!
New Baby Monitor! Technology has gotten so much better in 6.5 years!

Brest friend pillow
I heard such good thinks about them, I figured I would try them out.
Other things bought:
Bottles
Pacis
Clothes
teething ring and keys
Wash clothes
Towels
Diapers
New nursing cover
I also plan on buying the Ergo Caboose Stroller.

I'm on #3, but my other 2 are going to be 6 and 8, so I have nothing saved at all... I gave it all away 5 years ago, thinking we were done 
I am going with the approach this time of "less is more, " especially since this really is our last one and I am not saving anything. I am also not buying much brand new, except for some personal items like wash cloths and towels, changing pad, crib sheets, and pacifiers and bottles. I got the following things donated back to me or I bought second hand from some wonderful ladies here and/or on the FB site:
my old breast pump
a rock and play sleeper
Bob jogging stroller
swing
exersaucer
infant car seat
Snap and Go
play mat/Gymini
Baby Bjorn
bathtub
Will use our old crib we couldn't sell or give away (yes, it's a drop side and yes I am ok with using it again). I still have a Marathon car seat, which I will decide if I want to use again when the time comes. I also have my glider and ottoman still, as well as the pack n play I saved to use with my nieces and nephews when the came to visit. And my boppy, but I will buy new covers since I can't find the old ones!
I will NOT be getting a bouncy seat. or a diaper champ thingy. any type of video monitor.

This baby will be opposite seasons so I would need summer onesies, I had a lot of fleece with DS. And bottles, pacifiers, bibs, new sheets for the cradle and PNP. If its a then I need some pink things, blankets, sheets, bedding set, etc.

DD will only be 23 months when DC #2 is born and they will be born during the same season so not too much
if DC #2 is a boy then we will need clothes but if we have another girl then just

Baby 2 is different gender and DS will still be using his crib when baby comes. Here's some of my list:

Swing (we borrowed the one we used with DS)
Bouncer (same as swing)
Double stroller and necessary accessories
New nipples and inserts of our drop in bottles
Sleep sacks
Wash cloths

Baby book and calendar
Memory box to match
Diapers and wipes
Footie pjs
Other girl clothes since we only have boy clothes

bottles and new attachments for the pump.
I'm reusing as many clothes as possible - even if they are different genders. I was changing DS 3 times a day when he was an infant.

We're having our 2nd girl and since she will be in the same season as our 1st, we really don't need much at all in terms of clothes.
We will get new furniture for the new baby's room. We also need a new monitor, maybe some new bottles, some closet organizers. We will eventually need convertible car seats, but that can wait.
Other than that, we don't need much at all. Will probably pick up a couple of new outfits, just so she has some new stuff!
