2nd Birthday cake help??
I am having my Twins 2nd birthday at home. I wanted to make mini cupcakes because kids usually don't eat the cake & also I probably wont have time to cut a big cake after singing since I have twins.
What kind of cake should I give the twins to put candle on? Should I get a small cake for them? Big cupcake? Small sheet cake?? Any Ideas?
My Theme is sports Baseball, basketball, soccer etc.

Re: 2nd Birthday cake help??
Since you are doing a sports theme, I'll tell you what we did for my DS's 1st bday. For his smash cake, we baked a cake inside a small metal bowl. Since it was a hole in one themed party we made it look like a golf ball.

2nd Birthday cake help??
Shoprite makes a Cupcake Pull-A-Part cake. It is a bunch of cupcakes put together to look like a cake. It is so cute. I am doing this for the girls 2nd birthday.

Re: 2nd Birthday cake help??
How about giving each of them a different sport ball themed regular size cupcake with a candle in it? Something like these:

Thanks for sharing your ideas. I think I will go to bakery & see there book of cakes. I may just get something very small for boys to blow candle out on.
