SA Results
I am undercover to protect the spermically challenged!
Volume: 0.8 (>2.0) Concentration: 64.8 (>20.0 Million/mL) Motility: 58 (>50%) Morphology: 40 (>30%) PH: 8.0 (7.2-8.0) Leukocytes: Few (None Seen) Red Blood Cells: None Seen (None Seen)
So Doctor wasn't concerned about volume because he said that it is usually due to collection. Husband said that he noticed that it seemed less than usual. He said, "it is hard to j--k off into a cup!" He was also really stressed that day because of his job. What are your thoughts?
I asked doctor about doing a HSG. He said only after I have been trying a year. He said that too many people ruin good tubes by doing interventions. I had four unsuccessful months using a CBFM and I am 30. Thoughts?

Re: SA Results
His counts seem okay to me. How long have you been trying? My Re wouldn't do an HSG until after 3 IUI's. Are you seeing an RE or an OB?

Re: SA Results
I would have them run the SA again.
Counts can vary so much - my RE said three times will give you the best average and see what you are really dealing with.
Honestly, at 30 and only trying for four months I would wait on the HSG.
Are you getting a period and a peak reading?

Re: SA Results
I am seeing a GYN. I don't think I will bother with another SA since everything was in the normal range. Does anyone know the significance of the "few" white blood cells?
