Re: Please recc your treadmill...
I got mine from Craiglist. It was a great price for something that was rarely used. The brand is Proform.

I got a cheap one at Walmart. I don't recall the name, but it was about $300.

Re: Please recc your treadmill...
I bought a Nordic Track 1800cS one nearly 7 years ago and its still running great and we have no problems. We spent about $800 for it. When we bought it, we selected it over a Proform because it had a continuous motor (which I have no idea what that means now, but when it was explained back then, it made sense and we still have it running and no problems with the motor!).

i got the cheapest one they had at sports authority (think that was the store)
it was less than $200 and we brought it home and set it up ourselves. it works great and was easy to put together

Re: Please recc your treadmill...
are you using it to run or walk?
if you are using it to run, you want to make sure that the length is long enough for your stride and wide enough for your stance. It should go upto 10mph and incline for hill workouts.

Same here. Not sure about the model # right now though.
ETA: Nordic Track Fold-up EXP 2000 XI Cushioned platform
We've had it 5 years so I am sure that model isn't available anymore but I think it was about $500. It's been great. My DH and I are both runners and have run marathons plus hundreds of other races. We've done our share of training on it & have never had a problem.

Re: Please recc your treadmill...
sorry - I never included my make and model.
I have the Nordic Track 2050 - I bought at Sears probably about 3-4 years ago.

Re: Please recc your treadmill...
Love our Bowflex Treadclimber because its smaller than a standard treadmill, takes up less room and is high or low impact.
Good luck!
