23 DPO update on bottom
Warning TMI about to be shared. LOL Perhaps I am overanalyzing this whole thing (perhaps LOL) BUT still no AF. I do continue to have major cramping like she is coming for over a week now. I went to the bathroom just now and YUCK there was something like the size of my pinky finger nail in the form of maroon gel ball. This was NOT blood. I checked it and rolled it (going too far for info here). I keep thinking AF is coming but now this is driving me nuts. I think I will test again tomorrow morning. I tested 2 days ago and BFN. Last night I was SUPER stressed and emotional crying-sobbing. I am not a cryer and felt like a big fat baby LOL Anyone wanna help and throw their two cents in to analyze me..I AM LOSING IT!!! Thanks! Cara

Re: 22 DPO and something is going on..
If you're this late, you do not have to wait til the morning to take a test. I say POAS ASAP (and let us know ). If you get a BFN, I think you should call your MD. What day do you think you O'd again?

You have no other bleeding?
If you were pregnant, I just wonder if it would be too soon to be passing a sac. Also, I wonder if you could pass the sac without any other bleeding.

I would also say to test again. By 22DPO you should get a positive without FMU, I would think.

Re: 22 DPO and something is going on..
I was researching...What else is new...LOL and I found this info great on the website POAS.com
5. Can I still be pregnant if the test is negative (have a "false negative")? In a word, yes. You could be testing too early (before your baby is making enough pregnancy hormone to be detected by the test.) And some women (this is fairly rare, but possible) never get a positive urine test even when they're definitely pregnant (for some reason the hormone doesn't make it into their urine.) I have a friend who didn't get a positive HPT until 25 DPO! (With her second baby, a test at 23 DPO was negative . . . but a test on 30 DPO was positive. Oddly enough, with #3, her positive test came at only 12 DPO.) If you get a negative test but think you might be preggo anyway, wait a couple of days (giving the hCG hormone time to build up) and try again. It's not over until the fat lady sings-- and your period crashes the party.
If you are not monitoring your fertility in any way (OPK's, charting cervical mucus or basal temperature, ultrasounds) it becomes extra-tricky. There are two parts to every menstrual cycle: from the start of your period to ovulation, which can vary quite a bit in length, and from ovulation to your next period, which is usually consistent in length. (This second half is known as the "luteal phase," and the normal range is 10-16 days. It's normal for your typical luteal phase to vary by a day or two. For example, mine is normally 11 days, but 10 and 12 are not unheard of either. I have also had a couple of longer ones by total fluke.)
Because ovulation can happen at any time, it's possible your egg was delayed for some reason (stress, illness, travel, excitement.) This doesn't mean your period is actually "late" (it could arrive within the normal 10-16 days after ovulation), but rather than your entire cycle was delayed due to a later-than-usual ovulation. Thanks for the support and info...I am done for the night and will stop obsessing I will test in the AM again if AF does not come or no sign...otherwise this Dr. still has not called me back Grrrr. I will call again on Thurs. thanks!

Hey, the suspense is killing us - please POAS. At 23DPO, you should not need FMU.
Did your MD ever get back to you?

Re: 23 DPO update on bottom
Well I belive it was a chemical. I had signs and symptoms but it didn't stick. I guess that is a good sign that hopefully I can get PG. Thanks for the support and good luck to all in the coming months

Re: 23 DPO update on bottom
If you think that's the case, I would let the MD know - although you probably would have gotten a BFP. In fact, if you're just starting to lose a pregnancy, you may still get a BFP on a test or bloodwork. I POAS for several weeks after my miscarriage and it came up positive b/c my HCG level hadn't gone done yet.

Re: 23 DPO update on bottom
I had a chemical a little over a year ago, and I was testing BFP for a few weeks after, so I would go to the doctor and get some bloodwork done.
