FYI: Levitz.....
Is definitely going out business!
My MIL had some furniture that had to get replaced/fixed and the guy said it was TRUE.
It was only a matter of time.

Yeah I was actually in Raymore and Flanagan last night and they said they just took over about 20 Levitz locations.

FYI... they lied. They did not take over anything. Levitz was auctioned off and a liquidator bought them. The courts are finalizing this today. They will hold the sales and then the stores will close. Then a lot of really great people will be without a job for Christmas.

Yeah - we won a large contract to do work for Levitz a few months back, and they had to cancel it cause they are going bankrupt.

I just spoke with someone there. Anyone waiting for an order - you will most likely NOT get it. They won't even give you a refund. You have to go to small claims court to get it (at least that's what they told me). Or disput the charge with your credit card company.

No. My gf just went there at lunch and she said she overheard the salesman telling a couple that they can't order things but could buy the merchandise off the floor.

 I would definatley fight that. That stuff is not cheap enough to just let it go. How would they like it if we said they aren't getting their money from us.
