wow
very sad -
however- I am not finding John White believable at all
every time he answers a question about what happened he body language looks like he is lying (blinks and looks down)
and his story doesn't match Dano's friends story at all and it not logical
so tragic - from a misunderstanding at a HS party to death- just awful

Because they had a BAT in their car it "appeared" that they were going to use it.
PLEASE...DH, my brother, my friends all have bats in their cars b/c they play ball or go to the batting cage.

John white had MULITIPLE loaded guns in his house that were unregistered
hardly compares to a bat that they didn't even use
and they used a bad word as their friend was bleeding to death in the back of their car - are you kidding????? that's evidence

some of you have a misunderstanding of how this world works....
being of color, things don't always seem the way the "should" be...
as an above poster said, what would you do if this were you...you think cause you call the cops, you will be saved? just like 1 shot can kill you, 1 blow with a bat will kill you too.
obviously, this is a bad situation all around between the kids, and john white. there is no winner...you can say what if all you want, it won't change what happened

I agree. And for him to NOT call 911 even after he shot him "accidently", I don't understand how it was an accident.
