$15 gift card for teachers, is that enough?
money is so tight right now and my daughter has 3 pre school teachers and now my other one is in nursery school twice a week so now that is 2 more teachers. is $15 gift cards not enough? i feel bad bc last year her teachers got $25 but there is no way we can swing that again this year now that we have another one in 'school'!

As a teacher, any amount is much appreciated. I get a ton of $5 gift cards and it adds up!

ITA. It's the thought that counts. A heartfelt "thanks for all you do for my child" is what I always cherished most.

dh works outside and if it rains or snows he doesnt work so we really cant afford much. money gets very tight in winter.
last year i did 10 for her 2 main teachers and 5 for her assistant. she was in a 3yo program. this year she goes every day but i really can only do the same.
i do make a very cute card to go along with it (etsy style)

As a teacher, I don't expect anything from my students. I think a $15 gift card is a very thoughtful gift. I am sure the teachers would even be happy with a homemade card. I always say that I would rather the parents spend that money on the child rather than me.

I got 97 cent christmas tins from walmart and I am going to fill them with little candies. My son has a teacher, her assistant, a class grandma, his Seit and his OT. It would be way to expensive to do anything crazy. A small thank you I'm sure is greatly appreciated.
