Well, Karma really is a b*tch
I just got a call from my father. My mother has to have emergency surgery to remove her Corotid Artery, because it is 80% blocked, and she is at risk for a stroke. I am a complete mess right now. To all of you, I am sorry if you hate me, or think I am horrible. I dont want any hugs. Just prayers for my mother, not for me, please.

geez what is going on with our parents!!!
Kristen many hugs and prayers to you! they thought thats what cause my dads stroke, that artery- its a major one so its good they caught it before it did cause a stroke!!!

seriously if you need anything let me know.. the surgery is not that bad... believe me I researched it when we thought my dad was going to have to get it. she is truly lucky they caught it in time before it was 100% blocked...
its scary and I know you are upet... hang inthere and be strong - your mom and dad will need that strength...
i think us being strong gave my dad the strength he needed to get through these past couple of days...
