Help me choose
DH is set on not using the black backround.... since if you look ever so closely you can tell DS was cut out-
I love the black backround 
Anyways so now I have this pic(if you look closely there are little snowflakes "falling"... and these cards DH like the last one best- I like the one where he is in the ornament best-
Im not in love with anyone in particular- I was hoping DH would design the whole card... but I guess not

The first one (snow flake) is SO cute!!
You can really see the lights in the first pic also. 
ETA: I was looking at the dots in the 1st picture and it sort of looks like spill drops, can you remove them? I think It would look better with out them. JMO

Or I could just take the image- and put the writing to the side of him... no graphics...
(Like Stef had done for me w/ the black background...)

I personally think the blue snowflakes one takes the focus off the lights in the picture. A little too much going on...KWIM?

See I think that too- Im so fliipin confused!
DO you think im better off- just leaving the pic alone- writing the msg besides Ry- and leaving it simple and making that our card- no graphics at all?

Honestly, yes. I think the pic is absolutely adorable and captures a childs' amazement with gifts/lights/etc. What about a more fun, child like font but maybe there is a way to make the letters different colors, like the bulbs of the string of lights???
ORRRR.....a simple string of colored lights along the bottom and/or top edge of the card.

I would use the first one (just the photo) and write in white script the holiday message.

I am not help - I am torn between the blue one and the ornament.
I really like your idea of the entire picture being the card and just adding some writing to the sides. I would love to see that idea.
Love the pictures - so precious. I tried to get a shot like that last year and got cute ones but DS was a little crazy with the lights not so peaceful like you picture!

I LOVE the picture!!!!! I like the idea of using just the pic and writing your message in white script. If that is not an option, I like the black background best. I think it really draws your attention to the picture.

Since DH does not like the black background is there anyway to somehow blur out the squares in the sheet that was behind him just a bit more?
THen I think just the writing on the side of him with maybe a string of lights on the top & bottom of the card....to play up the lights theme...
It is such an adorable picture...

I like the first one, the blue one. Since the picture will be small and not blown up you won't be able to tell that the picture was put in. I would also leave the black background.
