1 Day Late

Hi Girls -

Yesterday, I kinda hit a wall and decided that I needed to step away from the whole TTC thing. I don't mean the actual TTC thing, but the boards.

I know coming from a 'newbie' it's going to seem silly, but seeing all the people log in for 2 posts and get pregnant, makes me sad. Seeing some of you LOVELY ladies here for so long, that makes me sad...and having all of the information i've learned here..i think it's just too much for me. For the past 2 months, i've been convinced i'm pregnant, but it was just my mind playing games...

I didn't want to just flat out leave...because I know many of you care & I hope you know how much that means to me.

My update is that i'm 100% positive she'll be here today, simply based on spotting & how i feel, etc.

As per Yourdays.com and one other site that i'm blanking on the name of - i am 1 day late. I didn't have it in me to test this AM and simply because i truly think she'll be here today, I didn't.

I know how you feel - I really do. If you looked at some of my posts from the first months I joined, I felt the same way.

I think there are so many emotions involved in TTC and the just the whole process. It's a lot to handle. There's the hopefulness, anxiety, praying, heartache, heartbreak... every emotion we can possibly feel as humans.

The boards can be a great source of support, but they can also be a source of despair! We see the "first-try" BFPs and wish that was us, we see the people trying for years and we pray for them, we see the millions of "tricks" and wonder if they'd work (mucinex? barilla? baby advil?) It's a rough road to be on.

We're always here if you need support. We all have our times where we post every 3 minutes - and those where we just can't bear to look at the boards.

im so sorry Jess, you are feeling down.

at some points i feel the same way, and almost not want to post here.. and it sounds so bad when i say i get upset a little over BFP's.. and i am VERY happy for them.. its just personal reasons. and i just feel that everyone is pregnant now, and im not. everywhere i look

but i realized that talking to the girls , and getting advice, even giving advice really helps me through it! some days is better than others. i just could not go through this alone, and i feel like this is where i turn to

I understand what you're saying. This week I have just burst into tears reading about BFPs & I know I should probably step away for the next few days. It's not at all that I'm not genuinely happy for every BFP, but I'm 7DPO today & I am 99.99999% sure that I'm out again this month. I conceived my 1st two pregnancies so easily & now it's been 4 months since the m/c (6month overall) & I'm pretty sure I'm out again. I can't help but wonder with each BFP "Why not me too? Why isn't it working this time?" This board is a wonderful source of support, but it can be difficult sometimes. I think just about everyone here can relate to that.

It will happen for all of us when the time is right. We shouldn't give up because we always have eachother to talk to.

I know exactly how you feel. I don't know why the recent BFPs have made me feel down. Then I read the sad stories of women having difficulty conceiving and it makes me feel sad too. I feel these boards are not good for my well being.

thank you so very, very much for all of your comments. it's really nice to know that i'm not the only one who hits that 'wall'...

TTC isn't easy...and it's not always fun! there are 4,000 things that go along with it and all of them are the same as PMS...

I know the wall you are referring to! It's frustrating that some people conceive so easily and others take longer. But our time will come!! Don't give up hope yet- it's only been 2 months!

I very much understand how you feel. I was on this board twice- each time as a lurker for many months and then finally joining in the chat so don't think just because they only posted a few times that it didn't take a while to conceive.

I think it is good to step back and finally the month where I said, enough- I am not worrying about this anymore, of course I got the BFP- but this was after MANY months of disappointing BFN tests.

So hang in there- we all have felt that way a time or two.

it's still not here - going to test if it's not here by tomorrow...this could just be month 1 of a sporadic af...which would just finish out the cycle just PERFECTLY!

I know how you feel. It's hard seeing all the BFP's. DH wants me to stay off this site for a while. Stay strong!! We are here for you!!!

Here are some Although I haven't hit the wall yet, I am so busy with the end of the year at school that I have been completely distracted. I fear 2 weeks from now when I am not working and all I'll have time to do is think about TTC...

I know how you feel. I went through it the first time. It took 9 months to concieve DS. Every month I was like "ooh, If I get a BFP, we can tell our parents on...(insert holiday here).".
I cried when I couldn't tell them on Christmas, Thanksgiving, or even Easter.
We ended up telling them 2 weeks after Mother's Day that year.

I know you have heard it before. When you don't think about it, it will happen.
I say that Im going to start this time with "When it happens it happens". Im going to pay attention to the ovulating and see what happens. I would LOVE to be here for a shorter time this time. We shall see. I promised myself Im not going to go crazy.

I promise you. It WILL Happen.

OMG - NEVER.... i'm not 'mad' at anyone - it just hurts to see is all....

i'm back on - just not all day like i was, refreshing evey 5 minutes or so...

and we're going away tomorrow through sunday, so that'll give me a break as well... heading to a wedding in novia scotia..
