Re: Does Anyone Practices

I have my desk facing the door. I remember hearing this leads to better concentration.

I also put my toilet seat down - but not because of fung shui - but because i heard that spray from a flushing toilet can reach several feet, and i don't want that all over my toothbrush. Chat Icon

Re: Does Anyone Practices

I go by it! Basically, you arrange your rooms according to what life aspect belongs in certain parts. There is what is called a bagua which shows you where things such as family, health, relationships, travel, etc, are most auspicious in a room based upon either cardinal directions or where the main door of the room is. For instance, in the romance corner of the room, you would place things in pairs. If you are working in the kitchen, you wouldn't put a block of knives there because knives cut and you don't want that in a relationship. It really is interesting. My favorite book is by a person named Clear Englebert. It explains so much but not in a confusing manner.

Also if certain numbers of your addresses add up to a lucky number or a death number... I know 8 and 2 are good

I am acutally going to a seminar on this at the end of April - I will let you know what I learn!

Please let us know.

Another thing that I've heard is about your office....your back should not facing the door.....it says it brings backstabbing and if you can't help it, you should put a mirror on your desk.....
Anybody else?

I have heard of this. I actually do keep a mirror at my desk but my 2 main reason was because I want to see who is walking near by and my boss has a really bad habbit of sneaking up behind me and scaring me. Their are only a few people I can tell who is close by without seeing by hearing the way they walk or their keys jiggling.

Re: Does Anyone Practices

I believe it works. I have shown DH a few things and he is now convinced it works as well. I took a one day class, and would like to have a consultant come to our house to help --
