A BFP, a catalog of neuroses, and a thank you
I got a BFP last week and was too scared to announce it! It's lonely to have a secret, though, so I decided to share.
More importantly, I wanted to share because I wanted to thank all of you for your insights, support, and kindness. You are a phenomenal group and I wish you the best! Special thanks go to Redhead, whose sage advice about "not obsessing" kept me as sane as I ever get, and Redstar, who is incredibly generous with her extensive knowledge of the TTC process.
I haven't even told my mother yet. I know how excited she will be, because she's wanted a grandchild (in a very OBVIOUS way) for a long time. I'm scared that something will go wrong and I don't want to break my mother's heart if that happens -- in fact, I'm so scared of this possibility that I'd rather deal with the aftermath of something going wrong without her. If that makes any sense.
So, I'm hoping that everything goes smoothly and that the pregnancy "sticks." I'm also hoping that all of your wishes come true... and soon!
