how would you politely and professionally say...
"none of your business"
and
"because that is none of your business, let's move on the the reason i actually called you instead of you questioning me on why i chose to call you from my cell phone instead of my desk phone."
why on earth do people care so much about how other people are living their lives?
this woman at work is always such a pill. this is why i hate working with her.
who is the most recent "pill" person you've had to deal with?

Re: how would you politely and professionally say...
Ive been in this situation and Ive usually said something like "Its not my place to discuss that" or "Im not comfortable discussing that topic" or "we should move on from that, its really not for me to say"

I'd probably ignore the question and go ahead with why I called.
